Holding Space is a one-day retreat committed to resetting and reconnecting with yourself, while surrounded by a community of like-minded seekers. Top local practitioners will guide you through sessions designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to integrate these practices into your daily life. Workshops and classes will cover a lot of ground - including, taming your inner critic, transformations and manifesting intentions, the mind-body connection and discovering what you need for greater healing, wholeness and harmony. Nourishing lunch and snacks will also be provided.

A Mindful Life
with Jean Vitrano
Jean will lead us in a session of A Mindful Life. We will start the day by coming into mindful presence with practices that include meditation, gratitude, self-reflection and self-kindness. By stopping, focusing on our breathing, and observing our thoughts and feelings we gain clarity, spaciousness and the ability to stay present to whatever arises. By touching gratefulness we nurture a sense of abundance in our lives. In giving ourselves time for self-reflection we remember what is important to us. Within all of these practices we strengthen self-kindness. (1 hr. 15 mins.)

Self Care 101: Listen to Your Body's Wisdom
Your body is both the recorder of your life experience and your guide for self-care. It communicates to you through sensation and feeling. Ease and calm are indicators of safety and wellbeing. While feeling states, such as overwhelm, exhaustion and dis-ease, signal you to take care of yourself. Tension, aches and pains can also be symptoms of held or blocked emotion. Underlying these blocks are often invisible emotional wounds in need of healing and expression.
In this experiential workshop, Theresa Pettersen-Chu, Certified Rubenfeld Synergist, will guide you to deeply listen to your body using a combination of verbal dialogue, gentle touch, imagery and movement, all elements of the Rubenfeld Synergy Method®. By listening with awareness and compassion you will access your body’s wisdom and discover what you need for greater healing, wholeness and harmony. (1 hr. 55 mins)
